Fort Hood Soldier for Life – Transition Assistance Program (SFL-TAP)

Free transition training and employment assistance for soldiers leaving service and also for Department of the Army civilians, retirees, veterans, family members and caregivers: benefits counseling, career preparation, and employment assistance. Transitioning service members and veterans may participate in TAP for life, so this remains available after separation. You must first register and complete the Enterprise Individualized Self-Assessment online, then contact the office to be scheduled for Individualized Initial Counseling. No-cost public workforce services across nine counties — Bastrop, Blanco, Burnet, Caldwell, Fayette, Hays, Lee, Llano and Williamson.
